Our Story
The Eastside Teachers Association (ETA) is the exclusive representative for certificated educators in the Eastside Union School District in Lancaster, California.
ETA has served Eastside educators for decades, with formal records showing the association established and filed as a recognized organization in December 1976, during the early years of collective bargaining rights for California educators. Since that time, ETA has remained a steady voice for professionalism, fairness, and quality public education in our community.
As a local affiliate of the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the National Education Association (NEA), ETA is part of a statewide and national network dedicated to strengthening public schools and supporting the educators who serve students every day.
Our Mission
The Eastside Teachers Association exists to:

What We Do
Collective Bargaining
ETA negotiates and maintains the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the District to ensure fair compensation, benefits, and working conditions.
Representation & Advocacy
We provide representation, guidance, and support to members while upholding professional standards and due process rights.
Member Support & Leadership
ETA encourages professional growth, leadership development, and member engagement within our schools and across the district.
Community Partnership
We work to build positive relationships with families and community stakeholders to support student success and strengthen public education.
